Jan-Mar 2024: Anti-Racist Book Club

I found it so helpful to have Erin and Emerald facilitate our learning experience —they ensured we had a playful yet safe place to tackle difficult and painful truths.

"Everything worthwhile is done with other people."- Mariame Kaba, Organizer & Prison Abolitionist

We use imagination to explore possible futures and to examine ourselves in a new light. Participants will explore themes of humanity, marginality, and evolution using the lens of science fiction with an eye towards applying these learnings to real life.

I host this book study alongside Emerald Anderson-Ford of Communities Reaching for Equity and Diversity (CRED).

What book will we be reading?

We will be reading On the Origin of Species and Other Stories by Bo-Young Kim.

Make sure to borrow the book from your local library or purchase a copy
