Realizing Your Power
We have the opportunity to set our intentions and create real change.
When you have many different ideas and a diverse skill set, it can be challenging to narrow your focus and decide where to direct your time and energy. Whether you are planting seeds for a future transition or ready to get started today, this workshop will help you clarify a direction and give you structure and strategy for making it happen. This workshop is intended to be an opportunity to pause and reflect, revisit and reconnect to your vision and values, and intentionally chart your future all while connecting with supportive, like-minded folx.
In this workshop, you will:
Articulate a vision statement and list of values
Name barriers and ways to overcome
Set short- and long-term goals
Gender Equity and Intersectionality
What do the terms equity and intersectionality mean? How do these concepts relate to our everyday lives?
This workshop will explore basic definitions and provide space for everyone to engage with how these concepts influence our day to day lives. Understanding these concepts will provide a foundation on which deeper learning can be built and provide an opportunity to shift perspectives.
In this workshop, you will:
Develop a deeper understanding around the concepts of gender inequality and intersectionality
Reflect on how gender inequality shows up in all aspects of our lives
List action items to put into practice at work and home
Your Sphere of Influence
Take steps towards inclusivity and racial equity.
This workshop is intended to be a foundation and a launchpad for further examination, introspection, and practice. Racial equity requires a personal commitment while simultaneously necessitating a community-wide effort. We all have incredible power to create positive impact as it relates to equity and justice within each individual’s sphere of influence and, to that end, this workshop is intended to be a starting point.
In this workshop, you will:
Develop a deeper understanding of the different forms of racism and how it shows up in everyday life
Practice courageous conversations to develop deeper connections, disrupt biases, and get comfortable with being uncomfortable
Recognize individual and collective steps we can all take towards racial equity in your sphere of influence
Examining Systems of Power and Oppression
As our culture evolves, so do our business practices.
Achieving a more equitable and sustainable future requires reconciling with our own individual experiences of privilege and marginalization and recognizing the role of white supremacy culture in upholding systemic/institutional power in our day to day engagements. Attendees will engage in a larger examination of what it means to advance social change through a lens of equity and inclusion and identify their role both in protecting and disrupting these norms.
In this workshop, you will:
Deepen understanding of systemic and institutional oppression and the role of white supremacy culture in upholding these systems
Explore your own role addressing or dismantling these power structures
Entrepreneurship as Social Change
As our culture evolves, so do our business practices.
It’s not enough to have a mission statement anymore; it’s necessary to build integrity, sustainability, and equity into the foundation of our businesses and the way that we conduct our work in the world. This workshop will cover how we shift business practices to reflect the kind of change we want to create and how that informs our leadership style.

Understand why it’s important to shift our business practices
Get to their how, what, and why in business
Learn leadership practices that shift internal cultures to create change

What kind of impact do you want to create with your business?
What kind of entrepreneur do you want to be? It’s easy to get stuck in the details of starting or growing a business and lose focus of the bigger picture. This workshop will help you put action to your vision for your business.
We’ll work on defining your vision and aligning your clients to that.

Understand the importance of visioning in your business
State your values for your work
Create a Values Alignment Tool to use when evaluating potential clients
