Live your values or it’s just lip service

Here’s the thing: I spend my days helping organizations and businesses live their values.

So, it’s only fair I do the same.

Erin is incredibly supportive, professional, and inspiring to be around. She has always made me feel as if our work is connected to a larger vision of a better, more just society.

I am an advocate for doing good.

  • I believe small steps lead to big change.

  • I understand that to solve systemic problems you need system-level solutions.

  • I know that businesses and nonprofits do not have to replicate systems of oppression to succeed.

My approach is explicitly feminist and anti-racist.

  • To me, feminism is worth fighting for.

  • I know that an intersectional feminist approach is the only way.

  • Being anti-racist is a continual daily practice, not some arbitrary end-point.

I am committed to sustainability and equity.

  • Saving the planet from the climate crisis requires bold action.

  • As a society, we can’t have a sustainable future without equity. We can’t have an equitable future without sustainability.

  • I care deeply about ensuring organizations are inclusive and welcoming to folks of all genders, races, and orientations.

We are collaborators on a mission.

  • It takes commitment, collaboration, and community to create lasting change.

  • I respect norms of the communities I work in.

  • I bring my whole self to every project and I expect the same in return

I am a strategist with creativity as my bedrock.

  • I believe when we’re allowed to express ourselves fully, we can change the world.

  • Curiosity helps uncover what's hidden below the surface.

  • Visioning is key to creating a better world and I embrace my imaginative, artistic side.

I am a network weaver who believes in the power of connection.

  • Simply put: change takes a village. No one can create it on their own.

  • Business is more about emotion, connection, and acceptance than norms want us to believe.

  • Dreaming together is the best way to predict the future; I know that sharing our connections and ideas only creates bigger impact.

I believe failure builds resiliency.

  • I believe that big change can only happen if we break up with perfectionism.

  • Letting go of fear of failure allows for innovation.

  • Messiness is part of the process.
