Where they started

PREP wanted to identify ways to live into their diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) values during the processes for developing their “State of Our Estuary and Piscataqua Region Environmental Planning Assessment” reports.

What we did together

Erin and Emerald Anderson-Ford partnered on this project with PREP staff to audit the report development process. Together, we worked to identify ways to incorporate and integrate principles of DEIJ and build stronger relationships with local residents, community groups, organizations, and decision-makers through the report development processes.

What they walked away with

A comprehensive list of recommendations at the macro, meso, and micro levels for both tactical and adaptive approaches to integrating principles of DEIJ into the report process.

DEIJ Audit

PREP had the privilege of working with Erin Allgood and Emerald Anderson-Ford on an initial diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion audit of two primary publications we produce...the conversations and humanity Erin and Emerald brought to the project team meetings offered incredible insight and really challenged our staff to dig into these concepts in a meaningful way.
